An APT image of Cyclone Hudhud I received on October 11 in Bangalore. Despite that single streak of noise on the top, this probably classifies as the most dramatic APT image I have received so far.
My receiver setup was a quadrifilar helix with an rtlsdr, gqrx and wxtoimg. My construction of the quadrifilar helix is described in my earlier post The Quadrifilar Helix and APT Yet Again!
The wikipedia article on Cyclone Hudhud is at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Hudhud
As an aside, I have at last got my amateur radio operator's license. This comes after three whole years of struggling with the ultra slow, so full of themselves Indian bureaucracy. Anyways, for future reference, my call sign is VU3VJF.
